A great way to boost your confidence

Is to practice your ability to meet and greet people until you can do so without feeling any intimidation whatsoever.

Now to help you along the way, I recommend brushing up on your social skills and fine tuning your humorous pitch.

Use your friends and family to test your skills or practice in front of a mirror.  A mirror is an excellent way to ensure your posture and body language are channeling some serious confidence.

By having good posture, standing tall with your shoulders firmly back (as opposed to slouching) as well as ensuring a good firm handshake (trust me, no-one likes a sloppy handshake) will demonstrate to others that you are confident and not intimidated by their presence.
